The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana through a press release on Monday, 11th September, 2023 has announced that the Voter Registration Exercise for 2023 will take place from Tuesday, 12th September to Monday, 2nd October, 2023.

The exercise will take place at all 268 District Offices across the country. This important process is available to all those who have attained the age of 18 or have turned 18 but did not register in 2020. 

The Commission said the required form of identification is either the Ghana Card or Passport. Where, these documents are not available, one must be endorsed by two registered voters. It however cautioned that attempting to register as a minor or non Ghanaian is an offense and anyone who indulges in such acts will face prosecution.
