The 2024 FCMB Hackathon and Venture Building Program supported by FMO is designed to search out, identify, and groom early-stage businesses across Africa.
The program consists of a hackathon, where participants will be supported to develop their ideas/solutions, and a venture building program, where selected teams will receive funding, mentorship and support to build and scale their solutions.

The FCMB Agritech Hackathon and venture building program is an initiative to foster and accelerate the growth of the agricultural sector through support to agritech companies in solving industry challenges.

Eligibility Requirements for FCMB AgriTech Hackathon 2024
To be eligible for the FCMB Hackathon and Venture Building Program 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Stage of Idea:Your business idea should be in the early stages of development.
- Team:You should have a team with a mix of skills and experience relevant to building an Agritech business. This could include experience in agriculture, technology, business development, and marketing.
- Passion for Agriculture:You should have a strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact in the industry.
- Commitment:You should be committed to participating fully in the program and working hard to develop your venture.
- Legal:Be a legally registered company either as a business name or limited, individual teams of hackers are also encouraged to apply to the hackathon.
