Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a background in manufacturing to join our bakery business. As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and managing all aspects of our manufacturing finances. Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the bakery business’s manufacturing operations.
– Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
– Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
– Collaborate with the management team to analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
– Conduct regular financial reviews, assess risks, and provide recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability.
– Lead the budgeting process, including coordinating with different departments to gather accurate financial information and develop comprehensive budgets.
– Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to support manufacturing operations.
– Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
– Provide financial support and guidance for decision-making, investment analysis, and capital expenditure projects.
– Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and manufacturing.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting and must be a chartered accountant ( CA /ACCA)
– Proven experience as a Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or bakery industry.
– Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
– Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
– Experience in managing manufacturing finances, including cost accounting, inventory management, and production planning.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
– Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
– Proficient in using financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
– Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
