Position Summary:
The Program Auditor will support program operations by auditing truck marking and related NTL operations at depot terminals across the country. This role will require frequent field work, close collaboration with NTL depot personnel and basic troubleshooting of field and laboratory devices on an as-needed basis.
The Program Auditor will primarily have oversight of the Program’s standard operating procedures and protocols against which s/he will ensure compliance and effective execution at the various fuel terminals. Additionally, the role will lend support to the field maintenance team in order for the accomplishments of the goals and objectives of the Ghana program.
This is a full time/permanent role which includes a significant amount of domestic travel.
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge of fuel terminals and site issues
- Capable of understanding contractual obligations
- Excellent problem solving and reporting skills.
- Drafting, implementation and enforcement of SOPs.
- Knowledge of procedures, standards and application of validation and documentation
- Excellent communication skills with customer and with management
- Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Comply with company’s health and safety policies and quality system.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To have comprehensive oversight of marker preparation, dosing, reconciliation and storage at the depots.
- Conduct frequent on-site audits of the marking process and ensure conformance with contractual obligations.
- Report key data/issues of concern to management for immediate attention.
- Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures and ensure strict adherence by NTL depot staff.
- Coordinate with the field maintenance team to carry out routine maintenance on field devices.
- Assist with continuous improvement of program deliverables and existing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate principles, values and policies to resolve issues, as needed.
- Interface with the Project Management Office and other internal departments as required to facilitate effective communications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Comply with company’s health and safety policies and quality system.
Education and Experience:
- Must have prior technical experience in a similar/related industry (5+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or technical/related field from four-year college or university is desired. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge and applications of health and safety procedures
