About the job
Our client is an indigenous Ghanaian Company that provides professional Human Resources and Logistics support services in key sectors of the economy.
They are looking for a Project Coordinator with background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to lead the team in the logistics/procurement section of their operations.
Roles/Responsibilities:
1. Be the main liaison between the clients and the Company.
2. Take up project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, and assigning personnel to handle the various phases.
3. Lead the team to come up with best engineering solutions for the clients’ project needs.
4. Lead the bidding for projects and ensure deadlines are met.
5. Assist with project scheduling and maintain project schedules by monitoring progress and resolving problems.
6. Create a supplier’s datasheet for future references.
7. Engage clients on regular basis to assess their needs and project requirements.
8. Evaluate and report risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels.
9. Provide administrative support as required
10. Any other duties assigned by the General Manager
Qualification/Experience
HND/B Sc. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline
At least 2 years’ experience in a related field
Experience in working on projects and coordinating teams
Ability to adapt to different functions or activities
Competence
Proficient in MS. Word, Excel, Power-point Presentation
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
