The Ghana Audit Service will undertake a head-count exercise from Monday, 4th September and end on Friday, 8th September, 2023 for all staff of Ghana Education Service (GES) in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region.
This action of the Audit Service is as a result of some unknown staff who cannot be seen in the Payroll.

The move will request staff to provide their first appointment letters, payslip, Ghana Card, biometric birth certificate and other details in the course of the exercise.
The Ghana Audit Service and the Controller and Accountant General (CAGD) have commenced a nationwide payroll and validation exercise to clean the blown up payment systems.
