The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has begun the October 2025 Salary Validation Exercise for all government workers in Ghana. The process officially started today at 2:00 am and is scheduled to close on Wednesday.
The validation exercise allows institutions to verify and approve staff details before payroll is finalized, ensuring that only legitimate employees are paid. It also helps identify and correct any errors or discrepancies ahead of salary processing.
Validators have been encouraged to complete the process as early as possible to avoid last-minute rushes or system congestion.
After the validation period ends on Wednesday, salary processing will immediately commence, and October 2025 salaries are expected to be paid starting from Friday.
The CAGD reminds all validators to complete their tasks within the stipulated timeframe and urges employees to confirm with their departments that their validation has been completed successfully.
