The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has officially opened the Electronic Salary Payment Voucher (E-SPV) system for May 2025 salaries. Many validators have been on standby since Friday, with the validation process commencing at approximately 11:50 AM.
As per the standard procedure, the validation window will remain open for 72 hours, meaning it will close by Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning. Following validation, banks are expected to process payments on Thursday or Friday, ensuring that salaries reflect in accounts by Friday or over the weekend.
In line with the Controller’s 2025 payment schedule, May salaries are slated for disbursement starting Thursday, 22nd May 2025. Employees can expect their salaries to be credited within the stipulated timeline.
