The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has commenced the September 2025 Salary Validation Exercise for government workers across Ghana. The process began today and will officially close on Wednesday, 24th September 2025, at exactly 5:00 pm.
The validation exercise plays a vital role in ensuring that only eligible staff are captured on the government’s payroll. It also helps to detect errors or anomalies in employee details before final salary processing.
Institutions and validators have been urged to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe, as no extension will be granted. Staff are also encouraged to verify with their respective heads of department that their details have been validated successfully.
Once the validation period ends on the 24th of September, the necessary salary processing will begin immediately. Workers are expected to start receiving their September 2025 salaries by Friday.
The CAGD emphasized the importance of timely validation to ensure smooth payment and avoid delays.
