The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) per it’s mandate has opened the validation portal for all eligible validators to validate and forward/submit the payment vouchers for August, 2023.

This process is done to ensure that every salaried- worker on the Controller Payroll are properly checked before the final submissions are made to the banks by CAGD.
It usually takes the banks some few days to also credit their customers. It also, therefore means that, Government workers should start receiving their salaries from Friday, 25 or Monday, 28 August, 2023

Any delay in payment of salary may either be an error or technical challenge from a validator, Controller or your bank. GCB Bank, however does well in paying salaries on time.
Validators are also to note that, the window will elapse within 72 hours.
