The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has released the payment voucher for verification and validation for the month of July, 2023.
CAGD released the validation around 5:30pm on Wednesday, 19th July, 2023 to ensure that validators approved, or detect any anomalies for staffs on their payment vouchers.
After validation, it gives Controller the go ahead to send the payment vouchers to the banks to credit their customers who receive their salaries through them.

Validators are also given the chance to report anyone who are not part of staff on their payment vouchers. This window last for at least 48-72 hours before validations are over. If all things work out well, public sector workers should start receiving their salaries from Thursday, 27th July, 2023.
