The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has officially opened the August 2025 Salary Validation Exercise for government workers across Ghana. The process, which started on Tuesday at exactly 7:30 am, is expected to run until Thursday evening, giving validators ample time to complete the exercise.
The validation process is a critical step in ensuring that only legitimate staff receive salaries. It also helps in identifying and correcting any discrepancies in employee records before payment is finalized.
So far, the validation for August 2025 has been smooth, with many institutions already completing their submissions.
Once the validation window closes on Thursday, preparations for salary disbursement will commence. Workers are expected to receive their August 2025 salaries on Monday, 25th August 2025.
The CAGD has urged all validators to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe to prevent delays. Employees are also encouraged to confirm that their validation has been done successfully with their respective institutions.
