The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) will today open the portal for salary validation for the month of November, 2023.
In the event of any delay means validators should expect to start validation tomorrow.
Per the validation and payment schedule for 2023, November’s validation is expected from 15th – 18th of this month, the Controller makes the Electronic System Payment Voucher (ESPV) available for validators to check and verify staff on their payment vouchers.
A delay in releasing the payment vouchers also delays the payment of salaries,
This helps the CAGD to process all the necessary arrangements and forward the payment vouchers to the various banks to credit their customers.
The validation period usually lasts for a 72-hour period, after which workers are credited.
For the month of November 2023, workers should be expecting their salaries from Friday, 24th November, 2023 per the payment schedules from the Payroll Manager.
