The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) have announced that customers who have paid up for new service and separate meter request that they should visit their various respective district offices to be served.
The Utility provider stressed that customers are to take along their payment receipts and any national ID Card to verify their identity, and for the necessary official processing and documentation.
It also took the opportunity to remind all customers who are caught involved in any act of illegality will be dealt with.

Some of the punishment includes
- Charged with the criminal offense of stealing
- Publishing of names of offenders
