The Electricity Company of Ghana has declared its intention to declare another nationwide revenue mobilisation exercise which will kick off today, Monday, 29th May, 2023 to Friday, 2nd June, 2023.
The utility provider, stated in a notice publicized that “the massive revenue mobilisation exercise will focus on all categories of customers in arrears including State – Owned Enterprises (SOEs)”.
ECG has warned it customers that legal actions would be taken against customers who interfere in the exercise or are involved in illegal self-connection after disconnections.
Customers in arrears are admonished to pay their bills to avoid any disconnections. Remember that you will be required to pay a reconnection fee before reconnected to power.
