Government workers on the Controller and Accountant General’s Department’s (CAGD) payroll have waited patiently for their October, 2023 salaries to be paid after validation ended on Saturday, 21st October, 2023.
Ghana Updates Online can confirm that most banks have started crediting their customers most especially, GCB Bank. This gives an indication that other banks would start doing the same.
In the event that a worker’s salary is delayed, it could be an error from his or her bank or an error on the part of the validator.
