Do you wish to know the cost of consuming electricity and water bills for your household before the bills are issued to you? Please note that ECG bills are calculated on 28-32 days basis.
Follow these simple step:
- Check the last date the meter was read and the consumption in Kilowatts per hour (kWh) on your current bill. For example if the charged date was from 08th February, 2023 to 09th March, 2023 (29 days) with a reading of 7741 kWh ding for the previous date , your next meter reading/bill will be from 09th March to 06th April, 2023 (28 days). Let’s say on the reading on the Meter as at 06th April, 2023 is 7792 kWh, the difference will be (7792-7741) = 51 kWh.
- Next log on to the PURC TARIFF Site or Download the Reckoner App on Google Playstore
- Enter the difference of 51kWh in the Consumption Column, but please first select whether it is a residential meter or non-residential.
- Enter or click on Calculate to check your bill.
