Active Capital Management is an investment and asset management company. The company since inception has been conducting regulator and business strategy research. The company is looking for Director of Administration, to help meet compliance and operational strategy Across- the African sub region
Requirement
- Must hold a ’s degree or equivalent, professional Qualification of ACCA level II,/ CA Ghana/CFA
- Master in Finance /Financial management, Research background is a is a plus
- Understanding of the Ghanaian business environment, as well as the west Africa business setting
- Must be a Result driven and or goal getter
- Understanding of the Private equity industry
- Understands the regulation and operation of the SEC commission of Ghana
- Understands the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA) 2000, the required procedure in gaining authorization from the FCA, Hold and the certification from the Security and Exchange commission of Ghana
- The position requires a minimum of 3 year experience in the field, or related experience in Ghana, across the west African region,
- Strong understanding of security and exchange sector operational and requirements, both the JSE, London stock exchange, Ghana stock exchange, and the NY stock exchange
Job Description
- To conducts research on industry sector focus of the Active capital business model
- To help Active capital meet all the regulatory compliance requirement and good governance ethic
- Review business investment decision -portfolio company requirement with the executive management team. -Board level decision, Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on sector analysis, and regional investment trend. Opportunities and risk analysis -aligned to investment strategy
- To help in the implementation of the business strategy and developments, of portfolio companies, Investment and Financing decision and strategy in compliance with Active capital fund operations.
- Help in the implementation of the capacity building strategy for the Active Capital management staff, and its collaborators.
- Working in partnership with the HR unit in developing strategic HR program for staff development and business growth.
- To work with the regional -partners for the cocoa sector focus operation, both on the investment in cocoa purchase and the manufacturing sector, all based on direct operational, Coordination of the training of the regional investment support program for the LBC, SME’s and facilitation of SME research on growth capital support
- To support the review of the strategy, review of the 2022 to 2027, investments program, building partnership, collaboration and provision of growth capital
- To support in the local capital fund raising strategy, across the respective region, Across Africa.

Salary
84k GHS per Annum, cost to company, tax inclusive
