Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide first-hand treatment to patients by following Standard Operating Procedures for drug administration and recovery.
- Administer medications, recommended by the medical doctor on-site, track drug dosages, and provide reports on treatment progress.
- Record patients’ vital signs, regularly to ensure that the treatment plan administered is effective.
- Provide strategic care options with effective nursing measures to improve patients’ mental and physical health.
- Carry out immunizations as and when required by patients.
- Provide support to clients that visit the facility by attending to all questions and information that may be required.
- Ensure professional transfer of patients to other facilities due to the severity of cases.
Quality Control and Process Responsibility
- Develop and implement operational procedures, systems, and processes in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems
- Review periodically, the clinical operational procedure, systems, and processes
Patients Management Responsibility
- Monitor and supervise clients/patients’ clinical requests, and ensure prompt service delivery.
- Provide technical expert assistance in the interpretation of the client’s results.
- Explore and provide innovative solutions in service delivery, to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Apply innovative strategies to boost revenue in the facility.
- Maintain a positive and warm environment for patients/clients that visit the facility
- supervise sample taking activities
- Monitor patients’ health history
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bsc. Nursing
- Nursing – Ghana Health Service
Technical & Technological
- Must be able to generate and interpret clinical reports
- Ability to educate patients on health issues
- Skill in the use of automated laboratory equipment.
- Ability to independently administer drugs
- Effective administration of treatment plans for progressive recovery
- Ability to administer first Aid
- Ability to update patients’ records
- Ability to use medical software.
- Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and advise on the use of clinical instruments.
- Excellent clinical reporting skills
- Provide relevant training to the team when required.
- Knowledge of cooperate governance
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience in Budgeting
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent presentation skills
- Time conscious
- Analytical skills; ability to understand complex performance issues and advise and able to prioritize action plans to resolve them

Specific Working Experience
- 2 years of working experience with a proven track record of good patient handling, excellent treatment strategies, and good nurse-patient relationships.
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
