The Controller and Accountant General’s Department on Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024 opened the Validation platform (E-SPV Return System).
The validation normally last for 48-72 hours after which Controller takes 2-3 days to process payments to the various banks. This means that validation will end on Friday, 24th May, 2024.
CAGD proposed validation and Payment dates for 2024
There are extensions for validation as and when CAGD realizes that most validators have not validated the staff on their payment voucher.
When then will salaries be paid?
According Controller’s payment schedule for 2024, May salary will be paid on Monday, 27th, but with delays in validation, workers should brace themselves to receive alert from Tuesday, 28th.
