The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has opened the ESPV platform for the month of October, 2023 for validation. As earlier reported yesterday, we indicated that the ESPV payment voucher will be released on Friday, 20th October, 2023.
The release by CAGD today means that salaries should be paid by Wednesday, 25th of this month.
The validation period however lasts for 72 hours. This means that failure on the part of a validator to log in and perform validation means all staff on that payment voucher will not receive their salaries for this month.

Public sector workers with GCB Bank usually receive their salaries earlier than all other workers.
