The Controller and Accountant General’s Department on Saturday, 18th November, 2023 announced that the electronic payment voucher for the month of November is ready for validation.
As we stated earlier on Friday, 17th November, 2023, we indicated that the payment voucher was to be released on Friday according to our sources, however it was also likely to be released on Saturday.
Notable developments arising from November validation is the Payment of PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ALLOWANCE which has reflected to be paid.
A deduction of GHS 100.00, however is being made for NTC License fee. This clears all the rumors circulated that an alleged GHS 300.00 to be deducted from the Professional Development Allowance
Also, there has been an integration of some recently appointed teachers into the Employee Salary Payment Voucher (ESPV) system.
The validation period usually lasts for 72 hours, meaning it expected to end on Tuesday, 21st November, 2023.
If all things work well without any technical challenge, salaries should be paid from Friday, 24th November, 2023 or Monday, 27th November, 2023.
Meanwhile salaries for the last month of the year (December, 2023) is expected to be paid latest from Wednesday, 20th to Friday, 22nd December, 2023
