Information gathered from our reliable sources indicate that some workers on the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) platform have started receiving their salaries from Friday, 26th May, 2023.

Salaries are paid by Controller based on validations done by Validators on the E-SPV Platform. Any errors arising from your validator can cause your salaries to delay. This is to ensure that the issues of ‘ghost names’ and other errors are effected before Controller credits or send the vouchers to the various banks.

However some delays in salary payment may be due to the bank you receive your salaries from. It is worthy to note that workers who receive their salaries  through GCB Bank started receiving their salaries from Friday, 26th May, 2023.

GCB Bank are almost always on time in crediting their customers who take their salaries from Controller.

Other banks will start crediting their customers from Sunday, 28th May or Monday, 29th May, 2023. You don’t need to panic when your salary was not paid on Friday.
