The salary payment voucher for September, 2023 has been released by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) for validation.
As we earlier reported on Friday, 15th September, 2023, the CAGD releases the payment voucher to enable prompt payment of salaries to public sector workers. This exercise mostly last for 72 hours after which, it takes less than seven (7) days for banks to credit their customers.
When all the processes are done, public sector workers should start receiving their salaries from Tuesday, 26th September, 2023.

Any delay in payments may be an error from your bank or validator. One should quickly alert the head of department in their respective Ministries or Organisation to resolve any discrepancies.
