Cycle Farms a company into Fish Feed Production is recruiting candidates for the following position of Technical Sales Officer.
JOB PURPOSE
Liaison between the company’s Sales Team and Clients; and provision
of solutions to technical aquaculture and nutritional challenges raised by clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Introduce the company’s products to new customers and distributors through prospecting.
· Identify opportunities and problems in the marketplace and advise the Sales and Marketing Manager appropriately
· Ensure the company’s operational processes and sales activities yields the desired results.
· Train farmers by organizing farmers’ forum
· Provide ongoing customer service
· Visit farms and sales points in a timely manner
· Follow up to trade receivables
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Customer-centric (Satisfaction & Relationship)
· Extensive knowledge of product portfolio
· Product Sales Support
· Technical expertise to support Sales Team
· Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape
· Strong interpersonal skills to interact regularly with stakeholders.
· Proven experience in engaging farmers and providing solutions to challenges raised by clients.
· Very good reporting skills
· High proficiency in MS-Suites
· Physical stamina
SOFT SKILLS
· Self-confidence
· Fast learner.
· Effective team player
· Efficiency in handling technical issues in a timely manner.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
· University Degree in Agriculture Science, or a minimum of Diploma in Fisheries and Aquaculture
· Adept at Microsoft Office Suite.
