Starting September 2023, the University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL) will introduce thirty-eight (38) new graduate programmes – nineteen (19) Master of Laws (LL.M.) programmes and nineteen (19) Master of Arts (M.A.) programmes. These programmes will replace and expand the current postgraduate course offerings at the school.
The Master of Laws (LL.M.) programmes will provide specialized legal training to persons with previous backgrounds in law and equip them with knowledge and skills to navigate relevant work-related legal and other regulatory situations. These programmes additionally provide opportunities and substantive training to engage in postgraduate research.
The Master of Arts (M.A.) programmes, on the other hand, will provide functional legal training to persons without a previous background in law to equip them with knowledge and skills to navigate relevant work-related legal and other regulatory situations and to provide opportunities and substantive training to engage in postgraduate research.

GHANAIAN APPLICANTS
Purchase a University of Ghana E-VOUCHER at GH¢220.00 from any of the following banks: Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, GCB Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank.
Applicants should follow carefully the instructions on the voucher when completing the online application form.
Steps to purchasing UG Application voucher via USSD and pay via MoMo or Vodacash:
Follow these 4 easy steps to purchase an application e-voucher:
1. Dial *887*9# on all networks.
2. Enter “UG”, without the quotation marks.
3. Authorise Payment.
4. User receives e-voucher via SMS after successful payment.
In a situation where the user does not receive an SMS after 10 minutes of successfully completing the transaction, they can retrieve the e-voucher using the following steps:
To Retrieve E-Voucher:
1. Dial *887*9#.
2. Select “Yes”.
3. Select Retrieve E-Voucher”.
4. The details of the E-Voucher are displayed (i.e. University of Ghana, Serial Number, and PIN).

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
International applicants should NOT buy the E-VOUCHER. International applicants should visit https://apply.ug.edu.gh/admissions/igraduate/login to access the online application.
International applicants will pay a non-refundable application processing fee of US$110.00. This fee can be paid directly or wire transferred into the University of Ghana ECOBANK Account.
