Job Description
CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Finance and Operations Officer who will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of an agriculture development program in Ghana. This role requires an experienced professional, as this person will be tasked with not only managing, but creating and developing best practices from the ground up. The Finance and Operations Officer will be responsible for reporting to international stakeholders, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, and more. The Finance and Operations Officer will work directly with the investment team and partner banks in Accra, as well as CrossBoundary’s global finance team, to dynamically manage their finance function for the prorgam.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop reporting templates for partner banks’ loan books
- Work with IT providers to integrate key reporting processes and metrics on a program tech platform
- Manage partner banks’ reporting process by analyzing reports, engaging banks, and running periodic audits
- Summarize banks’ lending activity and extract key metrics for program reporting
- Liaise with partner finance teams, program auditors, IT providers, and other actors on finance and reporting matters
- Draft, prepare and present program financial reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Manage program account and track and report program funds usage
- Managing operational expenses
- Liaise with internal Global Finance team for office expense management and reporting
- Additional ad hoc functions as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting software
- Knowledge of agriculture finance and rural development is preferred but not required
