The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) from today, Monday, 22nd July, 2024 release the payment voucher for July, 2024 for validation.
Per the payment schedules for 2024, salaries for the month of July will be paid on Thursday, 25th July, 2024. In as much as the dates are provided, these dates are subject to change depending on factors beyond the worker.
If all things work out well, salaries should be paid from Friday, 26th July. This also means that, when the validation is opened today, it will end after 48-72 hours, that is by Thursday validation period ends.
It must also be noted that there will be a 2% adjusted increase in salaries as per the agreement made between organised labour and the government on 14th November, 2024.
